It'll take you weeks just to read all the threads relating to wheels & tyres mate. At least you've already got a van and don't want to discuss the pros and cons of SWB vs LWB.

Hi - just found this forum, and hoping it's going to be a wealth of info. I got a '19 T28 Startline which is already converted, but stock from a Van perspective. So looking for advice on suspension (she sure do roll a lot, especially on Swiss Mountain Passes), wheels/tyres and ICE.
Welcome to the madness!!

we look forward to discussing some suspension solutions with you , we have the largest and most comprehensive range of suspension kits there is and fit out approx 80 vans a month with custom solutions . To say we have the T shirt is a gross understatement ha ha

Hi all Phil here currently living in Corbridge in Northumberland. I am selling my much loved Bmw M2 Competition to fund a new T6.1 camper. 36 now with 2 young kids so it’s time to plan a few adventures with the little ones. My old man’s had a couple of campers a T4 and T5 and now has a 3.5 ton A class Dethleffs so I guess I’m following him!

Hi Everyone

Newbie here, Denz from Lincolnshire. Just planning our campervan.
Initial thoughts are buying a T28 or 30 panel van and doing the conversion mainly ourselves. That said I would probably get the roof put in by someone, and maybe the R&R bed.

Does this sound a good plan? Any pitfalls?
Anyone done this already - here to learn as much as possible

Hi. I joined a few weeks back but have been so busy camping recently I’ve not been online much. Bought a newly converted van back in June after years of tent camping and am loving it. In the last 2.5 months I’ve been to France, Cornwall (a few times), Devon, Hereford as well as a few local trips around Gloucestershire, which is where I live (for now).

I have zero practical skills so won’t be doing any work on the van myself. Just looking for ideas really.
