Welcome new members

I come in peace! I’m new to this site. Bought a T6.1 in January and so far, loving it.
Thought I’d join as you’ve got some great threads - any questions I have are already answered! Cheers to you all!
Wow! A veritable raft of new membership! Who ever posts a picture of their van will be answered first! Welcome to everyone, we love y'all, especially if you join as VIP's! Pictures are our lifeblood though!

Hi @KED , it's great to have your membership at long last, it must have taken you 5 minutes! Have you got a picture we can see? You know we love a picture or 3!

That'll do nicely! Welcome to the best place to be if you have one of those! Looks great, guard your wallet carefully is my honest advice!
I can see this being a very expensive project. My list of upgrades is very long and that's why I'm here, to get advice and avoid mistakes.

Ask away Fletch, there's lots of ears on here, and use that search bar at the top as your second best friend!

Lovely I shall probably share my list of upgrades to get advice on best brands.

First question who here is from Norfolk and can also recommend good garages and mod shops in Northern Norfolk

What mod is top of your list?
Well top of my list is probably rear parking camera but my touchscreen stereo also seems knackered. Rather than repair it i really do fancy an alpine halo11 with full integration. The bit I'm stuck on is alpine stereo and alpine camera or keep the camera side separate and go Wolfbox mirror camera system with alpine just handling the rear parking sensors. I also want to add front parking sensors but I'm bit blown away why just adding front parking sensors is well over £600

Are you rich or mildly loaded Fletch?

Lol neither of the 2. Even the vans on finance
Quite a few companies come up on the Google searching on Campervan conversions in Norfolk. Might be worth a chat with one or two of them on specific jobs. I've tended to do one job at a time then move on to the next when monies allow. Are you a bit 'handy' yourself, there are many jobs undertaken on the forum by braver souls than myself, but if you are mildly useful you could have a look at forum members exploits! There really is something on here for every occasion!

Well my van primarily is staying a panel van since its owned by my company not me personally. I have been an engineer of 20 years and now have a small custom manufacturing business so I'm hoping to make some custom VW parts in the near future. My upgrade list might be long but like you it Will only be one small step at a time as funds allow for it.

Rather than clog up the Welcome thread, have a go at creating a new thread, perhaps, 'New member from Norfolk - please help', and help they will! Instructions are in the Forums section at the top.

Welcome KED , Durks and Fletch , seems like its a good time of year for buying a new van .
Expensive but very exciting times!
Thanks for the welcome, yeah I was certainly put off by the price. Apart from the milage being higher than I would have liked I do love my T6
