My guess is dealer subbed this out to 3rd party installer who hasn't used genuine dedicated wiring. I would suggest they might even have use da bypass box but given stereo recognises trailer attached it can't be that.
You need to follow the wires from the trailer socket inside and from there locate the control box. Once that's done you may have fuses there or they may have fused at the battery area. I have 30A and 20A fuses for my battery/fridge.
