What are you drinking tonight?

Just looking at the threads and I'm a Real Ale guy and love a pint down the local but I haven't had a beer since the Sunday before lockdown. Just don't enjoy a can or bottle the same at home. A drop o the hard stuff, red wine or g&t I can take but not beer at home!!!!!
Get down your local brewery and buy a keg then!

Rusty nail for me (ales run out) and Prosecco and liqueur for the lady. It’s been a fcuk Monday!

Mrs CAB likes her Gin, this is one of her favourites.

We discovered that Tiptree do a jar of dried lemon slices, perfect for G&T, don't go off like the ones you get in liquid. Wife has perfected the art of drying her own in a warm oven, after cooking something (top tip - slice them thick, they shrink), and a cleaned out jar of dijon mustard is the perfect size to keep a supply for the van.

My wife slices up lemons and then pops them in the freezer. One less ice cube required so your gin doesn’t dilute too much! ;)

A favourite ever since I moved to Manchester.

There used to be 2 outlets in town; the Crown & Anchor, out back of Picadilly, was a semi-regular for me, always great beer. The other one was the Coach & Horses opposite Picadilly Station; seemingly derelict, cracked lino and fluorescent lights, but a fantastic pint of Timmy Taylors.

Now you can get it in every supermarket. Takes some of the mystery away I think, but still tastes bloody good.

How many bottles of Delirium before you fall off your perch? I’m known for my propensity to down pints like most people sip water, but those Belgian beers are something else.
