It's a VW (well it's got a VW badge on it)

I 'think' the squigley writing says California

And I also think the side says Ocean

But by heck it doesn't look like any VW California Ocean I've ever seen!

Answers on a postcard please!!

New Cali. Based on the VW Multivan. Nowt to do with Ford.
OK that's interesting - I was assuming I was looking at a Transitporter in California guise

Will there be a Transitporter in California robes at some stage do you think? Or is this Multivan derived version all we're going to be allowed?

Doubt there will be one in the near term as the Multivan based one is brand new. Maybe in the future, depending what happens with the Multivan replacement.

Why does it have a transit body then ?
That rear quarter ain’t VW
It is beyond any doubt a T7 Multivan based vehicle, completely 100% Ford free.

To me they all don’t look the same.
It’s strange how VW incorporated the transit rear quarter into their multi van before the ford collaboration.

Me too, hence saying they looked similar, not ‘the same’.
Its lost everything transporter about it.
As I understand it VW give their Ford collaboration model the ‘Transporter’ moniker and that looks more similar to previous Transporters (but not identical to) rather than their ‘Multivan’.
