Just collected a delivery of black rubber lined inserts for driver and passenger doors.
Also chrome steel step covers with "Transporter" embossed for the main step and front driver and passenger steps.
Deliberating if I'm going to put some aftermaket tail lights from Van- X on

Took off the roof bars and fitted led reversing lights

Gave up and took it off again

Got a start on fitting the lift kit, back is done, will make a start stripping the front this evening and hopefully complete tomorrow. Been worth holding on to get access to neighbours ramp, makes life so much easier. First use of the torque wrench Santa brought me.

Not today but yesterday, finally got around to doing the towbar electrics, getting the can wires connected at the bcm was a pig for big digits like mine!!

Eibach pro 35 lift springs and bilstein b6 comfort dampers, not a huge lift but just the look I wanted and just a bit more clearance for fire track and getting down the beach etc.

Drove to wales yesterday, bought headlights, home today and fitted them. A quick VCDS mod to allow dipped beam to remain on with high beam (info gleamed from here, so thanks for that!). Just back from a quick test drive around the local lanes were they were an improvement on the old H4s.
