I had my first play with VCDS today. After my initial fear I found it quite intuitive. I coded the van for my new tow bar, rear speaker fader (needed ~20 minute "sleep" to register) and my reversing camera. Thanks to @Absolut5 for the Kenwood camera kit, it makes parking the LWB much less stressful!

I tested the front radar and emergency self braking thing today. I’m pleased to report that it works, the car behind me probably wondered what the hell was going on almost as much as I did. Note to self, don’t coast slowly towards a vehicle that is turning left in front of you without touching your brakes, the van will take over.....
lowered 40mm and new shocks fitted on friday by @CRS Performance so decided to give it a quick wash before taking the "after" photo.

I have the OEM VW ones. Fit well, compatible with seat air bags and also waterproof.

My Brother and I drove my 2016 T6 T32 to Queensland from Victoria 2 weeks ago, 1750klms in 17.5 hours, Oz roads limited to 110kph. and Saturday just gone drove back again took about 19 hour due to more stops to pee. Truck ran fantastically all the way, Headlights are shite as you all know, I call them darks, dangerous in some spots. We averaged 6.8litres per 10klms. well over 1000klm per tank. I just love it..
Painted my callipers and added some sound proofing to external arches while I had the wheels off .
Also Found where I had an annoying rattle which was the air conditioning discharge I believe . Stuck it down with silent coat . All good .

I see you are not far from me, I had real issue finding a reliable & sensible garage that had the hunter 4 wheel alignment. I first went to a garage in Tonbridge who claim that the owner Nev, can fix it! They were useless, booked in and then said leave the van for three days, just to align the wheels!
I found a small tyre fitters in Biggin Hill, owner has a air-cooled camper. Really helpful, we poured over the various settings on the Hunter machine until we were both happy, would recommend them.
