What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Sorry @Tony&Dawn. I can see now (just had an ear bashing off @T6180 on WhatsApp) I'm using a laptop, so it's not so obvious because I cannot zoom in.

It looks much better as Highline, but surprisingly it actually looks really good as Starline too. Must be that Orange.

After changing from H4’s to H7’s , wasn’t happy that the top chrome line on the H7’s didn’t match in, so had to go with the Velle grill .

So far I've fitted the following myself....

Roof Bars

H&R 50mm Springs

Silent Coated the rear of the van, then added the 7mm foam insulation ( Need a few more sheets of Silent Coat, as I haven't done the rear arches yet, was going to do from the underneath with the liner removed.

Rear Black VW Badge

Front Black VW Badge, with Lime Green behind

Lime Green lower grille trim.

Nice little afternoon tinkering on work time :D

Should of done this when I had the splitter painted but due to being impatient I couldn’t wait to have it fitted

All plastic parts removed to be sprayed gloss black to match the black pieces of splitter and I’m also adding the low LOW splitter also going gloss black.

Tried to get VanSlam to release me the paint code used to paint the shock absorbers to have my new H&R anti roll bars powder coated to match but after a week of trying no joy - they won’t release it. Since there are too many options to choose from I’m not taking a chance of it being wrong so just having them done gloss black.

Hopefully have them back early next week and fitted before the weekend! And hoping they help with the ongoing issue of the fronts making contact with the arch liners when cornering. It’s beyond annoying now!

Have a good weekend everyone!

Did you have to take the bumper off to remove the lower grills?

@G12RYX how you finding those wheels ?

Yeah, I’m happy with them. Love the look of them.

Only downside is I can’t get my hands between the spokes so they’re off every weekend to be cleaned which is annoying.

I’ve toyed with the idea of selling them but can’t find anything to replace them. You fancy some or already got them?

They are great looking wheels but why do you need to take them off to clean them? Wouldn't a wheel brush do the job or is there a reason you wouldn't use one.
I agree that must be a real PITA.
