What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Every shot I see of your van looking like that pushes me closeer to having a ceramic coating

I should have taken a before pic. It was absolutely caped in muck. Took me 2 hours and 8 micro cloths later (1 per panel).
It was then dried off with Auto glym aqua wax so over 2 hours later you see the results.

I would 100% recommend Ceramic coating but sometimes you just fancy letting a roadside gang clean it, which you can never do once coated as the harsh chemicals and acids they use will just strip it off.

Great results but does require a lot of effort. Personally I don't mind as I find to quite therapeutic washing the Van and it gets me out of household chores on a weekend.:sneaky:

Another weekend away this time Staithes, North Yorkshire into Whitby then back to Staithes then home

Spent the day with the spray glue and carpet.

Fitted the under-seat draw unit built by @Captain Backfire. Just got to floss line it, and fit a kick trim along the bottom once it arrives, but it slots under the rear double absolutely perfect, and makes good use of that wasted space. Well chuffed with the result, thanks Ant

Got a little carried away with the extra carpet and covered all my side shelving.

Got it dirty. FFS I only washed it yesterday.
I love the Blackberry colour but I've never known a vehicle that shows up the dirt so quickly.

I feel for you there mate, and know exactly what it's like.
I spent ages cleaning mine today and haven't driven it since, because it goes into VW tomorrow morning for a service and I do not want them washing it

Well I've dropped mine off at VW for the week to try and identify why mine feels like it loses traction when pulling away cold....I'm hoping it's the DMF but they said they won't know until they strip it....I'm getting them to fit a new clutch at my expense while the gearbox is off but if it's not the DMF then I have to pay for 5hrs labour.....so to say I'm bricking it is an understatement
