What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Don't rub when you open and close the door? Stick some pics on if you can and where did you get them from (you may have already told me)?

I got mine from eBay

Cheers @The_Lad
Got mine from ebay too.

Are they not rubbing the leading edge of your door though? Watch it if it is because it will wear through the paint when opening/closing the door, then rust.

Stripped Doris of her ply interior, cleared all the detritus from under the floor (leaves, twigs, insects, coinage....) washed interior down and wiped clean . She is off to the converters (Snug Campers of Malton) tomorrow for windows, soundproofing, insulation, carpeting and some electrical work along with swivels.
Also adapted the Exploria Caravelle bed bought off ebay by removing the caravelle bolt arrangement. Now slides in comfortably. Will just need to sort out a decent tie-down strap to secure it to the D rings.

Last of the big spenders.....
Swapped the gear knob cap for a colour coded one to keep in with the red/black theme.....

Went out and had a proper look today there is actually a small amount of rubbing so I’ve dremeled out a small amount of mud flap to give more clearance they have been on a few years though and looks like the surface paint has come off but not through to metal.

There is a huge amount of mud and crap in them though

You have to trim a T5.1 battery cover to suit T6 headlights. Took me a couple of attempts..

@Fish can you tell me what you had to trim to make the battery cover fit on your T6?

I have the cover and having removed the OEM battery side wall piece I am wondering how you fitted the Battery cover as per your images above?

He's not been on here since July, mate.

Fitted the battery cover I have had sitting in the garage since I saw @Fish thread.

Fairly simple to do but there was a bit of tweaking to get it to fit right. Good old Dremel well and truly paid for itself today.

Fitted a Dometic CRE50 fridge and wired it in. More of a pain in the arse than I expected. Then eventually turned it on on a low setting to make sure it worked and the orange light was on. Troubleshoot shows compressor not working. Go through all the possibilities and nothing works. Then a moment of genius and I turn the thermostat down a setting and hey presto it fires up. It was so cold outside that the fridge thought it had got down to temperature.
you’ve got to laugh........
