What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Today I've fitted a T5 battery cover to my T6, almost fits straight on. Just a 25mm hole for the bonnet rubber thingy to go through so the bonnet sits level and a wee trim of one corner plus drill into the plastec for the extra screw. Very pleased now. Not cheap but now the van looks finished under the bonnet rather than looking like something is missing.

That’s very neat! Do you have a link to where they can be bought?

Did this last week, lots of Dremel time involved. I didn’t drill the hole for the bonnet rubber though. Worth it in the end, then decided they needed to be shiny and out they came to be sprayed gloss black.

Now they match the centre gloss black piece perfectly

My amazing Wife helped me fit my fake black out rear quarter windows. Dreading messing it up but no problems at all. Waiting on the sealant going off then I can remove the tape and post a pic.

Also spent the whole day on the DA polisher removing all the blemishes and lacquer marks/ scratches. Why oh why haven’t I purchased a polisher sooner

Scary when the wet and dry has to make an appearance for few deep lacquer scratches though. Scratches removed, polisher with fine cutting paste and you would never know the scratches were there

Mega chuffed with the results.
