What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

@Tourershine , I wasn't impressed with the auto glym stuff I bought. Wipe on leave and wipe off... It sort of worked but some of the more stubborn spots needed a generic tar remover I had in the garage. Probably not good for the paint but possibly better than leaving the tar there. o_O
Cleaned the Golf this afternoon. She's black so you can't see the tar spots! The auto glym is good for that! :D

The van still feels all smooth and shiny after her cleaning!

Had a busy couple if days gathering information and booking the camper in for various work.
1, This months it’s in to Vw for sat nav head unit with the kenwood dash cam.
2, Next month it’s B14s fitted will try and get H&R ARB s but will depend on money
3, finally when that is all done it booked in for ceramic coating inc full detailing inside and out wheels, glass, seats and whatever else.
I have had to spread it out due to cost but it will all be sorted for the nice wether I hope .

Is that the metal pipe on the back of the engine that splits and hisses air when you blip the throttle?

What tar remover did you use? We use Autoglym Tar and glue remover, and it makes short work of tar spots. It's a simple spray a panel, leave for 1 min, and wipe off the spots.

Not sure mate, it’s a metal flexi pipe and moves gases from one part to another part. Got my bus back though so happy days and off to France later today

Door seals finally fitted now it's stopped raining! OEM sill protectors arriving this week for next weekends job

Took the van in for it’s first 12k oil service at Lookers Carlisle. Clean bill of health as you’d expect  From one of these vans

I joined the infamous team grey for a day

Thankfully my van was still filthy when I collected it
