Too trueYou git @Brindle . Why did you have to show me those? I'd have been blissfully unaware of them if it wasn't for you. This bloody forum will be the ruin of me.

Oh oh oh oh I like them, any chance of a link. I see the next project on the horizon. Cheers @BrindleRepost of the Alpine tweeters, don’t ask - it’s a long story . Also, I did a full install in the end, 6 channel amp, 12” sub, component door speakers, rear speakers, all of which is hidden away out of sight. I might do a thread on the whole thing as I struggled to find info on some of the things I had to figure out myself, like mounting the amp under the drivers seat, running the power easily from the battery to the amp, finding factory earth points that can be used etc etc.

Probably a dull question, but why not mount it on the shaded part on the windscreen with the lens just below? It would be less conspicuous and you'd have less dangling wire.
That’s where it’s recommended to be placed…. to the left of the rear view mirror and where the the wipers clear the screen. It might look low but I think that’s just the picture?Probably a dull question, but why not mount it on the shaded part on the windscreen with the lens just below? Job well done!Sun visor on the inside of the screen. It’s done so well it looks likes it’s OEM.

Don't know why but think that was in my mind when I wad placing it lol can be moved if needed.Probably a dull question, but why not mount it on the shaded part on the windscreen with the lens just below? Just done the same but with red stitching, not the easiest thing to do but sure glad I persevered.Fitted a leather handbrake cover with purple stitching to match the carpets I fitted a couple of months ago

Hi, I used the missus lipstick (no chance she’s reading this so I’m safe still) and covered the circle round the inset nut, then placed the spoiler in the van, the lipstick transferred to the van and marked where I needed to drill. Worked a treat and officially I have no idea who had been in the make up drawerHi, how did you measure where to drill? I just got my leighton spoiler but i won’t glue it so i will drill it like you did...
i got the foam pad but don’t really understand how to do it
