What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

DO you have to do all four brake callipers at once? Or could you do 2 one day and 2 a week or so later?
Would the paint go off

I only mixed half the paint and hardener so I have half left for the rears this weekend, you could do all 4 in 1 day but I wanted to take my time and get them looking as good as possible

Thanks I wasn’t sure if you could mix just half the paint. Good to know. Now need to choose a colour.

Ran a 16 sq mm cable from the engine grounding stud to near the battery so I can connect my Noco GB70 if and when it’s needed.

Started the conversion process of the van today. Usual sound deadening and foil lining. Not filling with Dodo insulation yet until cable runs done.Dynamat.jpegFoil.jpeg

Looks amazing and I have been thinking about doing something similar, but that is perfect! - what do you reckon it cost all in for materials?
All in, bed frame, mattress, materials, sliders and hardware came in around £950 includes my kitchen pod which I haven’t posted on here yet.

That’s great value!!
That was my main motivation :) I just couldn’t stretch to the £1600 and beyond for an OVANO or slide pod type solution so had a close look at what was on the market and came up with something that borrowed elements from different makes and came up with this.
It all breaks down into sub assemblies for ease of removal and uses factory mounts so no drilling or cutting of the van required.
Obviously the £950 is just the storage solution. The cadac and fridge are additional costs!

Sound deadened the front doors and door cards to try and improve the standard audio setup before spending any money on it. Really impressed with the difference, the sound no longer turns to mush at the slightest provocation. If this improvement had been the result of one of those £300 speaker upgrades I wouldn't have been disappointed. Completely acceptable now.

@Loopdreams did you do the front doors by going through the speaker hole, or by removing the inner skin??

Been wanting to do this myself for sometime, but I’m not sure how to tackle it yet?
