Does the rear silver plastic VW part detach from the black circle? I had read the whole badge had to be removed as it was stuck on.
My silver rear VW badge popped off very easily, I just started from the V and W on the centre.
Just did it gently and with a couple of plastic trim tools.
Didn't need to force it at all.

Not today, but installed Focal Impulse amp to complement Blam speakers I set up last year.
I originally used high (speaker) setting of the amp. While that works, gain of the amp has to kept low or otherwise each step of volume knob will be too high.
Today, played around with OBD11 and found out line level output from disco media can be had - then I could use low level setting of Focal and volume knob is reasonable.
5F -> byte 11 -> 0x06 (sound system external booster)
