This! Spent longer looking for the tiny drill bit on the floor after it turned out the chuck on the drill didn’t grip it, than it actually took to fit them. Hoping for no more water in the window switches now

Fitted these today, seat covers from Transporter HQ. Swivel seat was straight forward however the drivers was a nightmare. Too tight around the back and the zip burst, ended up having to cable tie the zip which worked out ok as the zip is hidden behind a plastic cover.

Painted the spare wheel bolt cover Candy Apple red, as the original red powder coating was flaking off after 3 winters



This will match the colour of the brake calipers, once fitted & when pennies allow...

Fitted the new Feelart SP-6.5D speakers that I bought yesterday.
Also sound deadened inside the door skin and over the interior metal door panel. What a pita that was.
Anyway, I’m really pleased with the sound from the speakers, they are pretty clear, bass is punchy and not overblown-a little bass lite if anything-turned the bass up a bar on the head unit.
Turn up too loud and they start to lose control and things get a little confused. But that’s above my normal listening level.
I’m impressed considering I’m still only using the factory head unit.
I’ll add an amp next week and see how that improves things.

When I did the fit out I put in a sink top and tap which has hardly been used.
So I made a lift out top so the work top space is increased.

I haven’t done this myself, Big V Kampers and Kustoms have done it. The leisure electrics are going in too. Skyline Aurora roof with most of the optional extras included from when they had their sale last year. If you’re going to do it at all, do it right the first time.
