I had one of those RCD360's in my Golf a few years ago.

Interesting that Travelinlite are selling them - used to only be available on AliExpress and eBay and a minefield of sketchy sellers to navigate.

I found mine to be a little buggy and would regularly need restarting.

Probably worth it for the money though, and you can solder in an external USB so you don't have a dangling cable hanging out the front - here's one I made earlier

...I ended up selling that car to a young lad, just passed his test. First thing he did when he viewed the car was check that his iPhone fitted in the dock!

Yes, they are for securing my folding motorcycle ramps. Audi estate cars have them. Check on eBay, I paid £34 for mine. I had to shorten them by a few cm and fit riv nuts into the inner metal crossbar. Very easy to do.

Great solution - I hate the dangly USB

I nearly said “dangly thing” but realised I might get @DaveD @CAB @Stay Frosty @MrSkip @Sackmycook and others all flustered!

Looks like one a roofing nail, might only be a short one that hasn't gone through the tyre.

If it has then it's far enough from the side wall that they can plug it.
