Nice one Mike, looks great fella. Can't wait to get in now roll on Tuesday! How ling did it take them from drop off to collection?

They are these:

The price is a bit odd, must have something to do with exchange rates, I paid £36 for the 3.

They look and feel well made and come with 4 different options for fixing the forks, 5x100 QR, 12&15x100 and 15x110 for boost.

Cheers, I'll get a couple ordered.

What you used for the base, painted wood? Sitting the rear wheel in/on anything?

Yeah just a 20mm plank, 170 wide by 1300 long. I had a can of plastidip sitting in the garage still so blubbered that on it, we’ll see how long it lasts.

The rear stays in place fine, the rubber of the tyre on the rubber makes it quite sturdy

Well there was nothing in work today so thought I would don't own. I have sound deadened the inner arches and the arch liners. Also when I got home I did the scuttle. With more blood this time lol. Swmbo has band me from sound deadening and Stanley knives. . 20220430_121830.jpg20220430_121819.jpg20220430_124947.jpg20220430_125005.jpg20220430_132410.jpg20220430_132416.jpg20220430_132429.jpg20220430_133127.jpg

Yeah probably one of the easiest ones to remove. 13mm wiper nuts, arms off then it just pulls away from bottom of screen. Remove the wiper mech to make it easier. Just 3 10mm bolts also a 10mm for the alarm that's it.

Any comments on road noise after? What materials did you use too? Think this is top of my list now

I had completely sound deadend my vivaro so was used to a very quiet van. Then bought this T6. Noisy wasn't the word. I did the front doors last weekend which made a difference. Doing these today has taken more noise away. I can talk in the van again at the normal level and hear the wife talking (not always a good thing).
I used silent coat and dodo mat insulation foam.
On a side note to all T6 owners. If you remove the arch liner, just above the brake pipe on both sides there were rust patches. Mine was surface but 2inch x 1inch. I wire wheeled it and primed it before putting sound deadener over it.
