What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

??? You've added extra brackets to the 3rd row in order to allow an extra seat in the middle row. How does that work?
On the standard shuttle set up (or at least on the 6.1) it comes with 6 brackets instead of the usual 4.

The usual 4 would allow a standard triple bench OR the new middle single with the seat belt to be installed.
The standard brackets on the passenger side allow the middle single to be installed on the passenger side of the van. so if you didnt buy an extra seat it would be, 2 in the middle on either side and one on the passenger side on the third row.

I have added two brackets to the drivers side. This allows me to place a single seat either side on the third row. So I could have three singles in the middle row and then two singles in the third row. Or any combination of seat layout only restricted by number of singles with built in belts that I have (I have one extra at the moment however the intention is to get another so I can for example have five in the back without needing to get my massive heavy triple seat out of teh loft.

You can see here there are only 6 brackets

However in the other photos you can see the additional two and then the two singles side by side with a small gap between them.

Ahh, okay - I get ya.

Do you???
I certainly do, and have learned something. I have a Shuttle with 3x singles in the middle and a 1x3 bench in the rear. I usually remove the middle seats for day to day stuff, and have a large middle area for chilling in when it's cold out. But if I want a huge boot the bench moves forward. The middle single I discovered now fits in the middle or to the side! I can also have the bench out, and leave the two outside singles in place but move the middle single back to allow lots of room plus allowing access through the Shuttle to the back.

Sometimes we don't raise the roof whilst parking up for the night and I always hated the way the roof look when closed inside. So with of spare ply-board and carpeting came up with this idea. Takes about 30 seconds to slide into place and out after securing roof down and doubles up as a shelf if roof is up to store things on (all be not too heavy) and at night fits in front seat area. Total time to make, about 1 hour.

Made some very, very minor improvements to my Ovano swinging table - cut another set of slots in the top of the leg so the table locks into the down/stowed position in the same way it locks into the use position, and I also drilled a couple of holes so both the thumb screws positively locate in the stowed position.

I can see why Ovano don’t do it, as it means the parts are no longer ambidextrous, but I think it’ll make the table easier to keep stowed and not wear the leg with the thumb screws.

You could get this tilting mount so that the table can be stored behind drivers seat. And use your existing mount on the other table top. After a few trips you'll figure out which table top suits you best.

After having a successful trip with my van wifi from an old iPhone needed a better solution for charging than having cables running everywhere.

This is simply an angled magnetic charging cable where the phone has a small insert th et I have Sugru’d into place.

Then added a small flat panel usb charger just in the front hole so that I have an easy connection. Annoying thing is had already stuck it in when found a .5m version of the cable - I only really need 6”.
