What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

I’m not tall enough to see my roof so assume it’s clean after 2 years and 50k miles.
@Lord Mfwic, it’s not! Unless you are deliberately opting for the “planted” roof look with all that moss. Noticed it at Bala but didn’t want to mention it in case m’lud called for the executioner “off with his head”.

It’s only “off with his head” if his head can see my roof.
As a human who’s company I enjoy, might I suggest you stoop or sit next time you visit. This will alleviate the need for one to bring a basket.

Well.... I Had a new battery fitted under warranty. Really impressed with VW assist. I broke down twice and had it jump started by a friend first time but 2nd Time I decided to call them. Very quick and easy process, came out to us at our convenience, tested and changed the battery. No questions asked. Brilliant service !

Up early this morning to pack the van for the wife who is away camping for a couple of nights with the girl friends for a meet up.

I have a feeling this is about to become the most stressful 48hrs of my whole life so far.

Sit back she said, open a bottle of wine relax and enjoy the peice and quiet, is she kidding

I'm seriously stressed and she seems to be loving it

Fitted a Westfalia Towbar and wiring although my van had Towbar prep.

About 4hrs start to finish so not bad at all.

Just need something to Tow now :)

I fitted my swell shades.
I can't praise Dave enough, he answered all my emails, returned all my call, and done exactly what he said he would at the time he promised.

How are you finding them now that they are installed?? Did you get the ones with the integrated flyscreens??

I have looked at these and are really keen but worry they will rattle or make a noise.

Finally got the wheel arch trims fitted today, itching to remove the tape to see how they look without it, supposed to stay on for 6 hours...……….. took the time to clean all the tar spots of both white vehicles as well, didn't realise how bad the audi was till I started the job, both looking much better for it.

Hi where did you get this one from - how does it attach at the bottom?

Its from campervanparts.co.uk and you can find them on eBay
Bit on the pricey side but worth it for piece of mind. It screws directly on the end of the bed board and folds back under the mattress when not in use or the boards pushed up.
