What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

and a load of money probably with the price its at :)
It's a steal at that price!
I've easily spent 10 grand fixing up my RAC van so far... (Although it had a new engine at 95000 and just had a new turbo so I'm happy I stuck with it.)
A steam cleaner was also amazing for shifting the gunk and making the seats nice again.

It's good you've got some panels left - could save you a few pennies down the line

Yeah im very confident its priced well, definitely owes me what its up for. Someone will get a great camper for not much money (in terms of buying a camper, I know £25k is a lot of money)

The amount of hours I've put in is unbelievable. It's been as much a restoration job as a conversion (the irony of a recovery vehicle not being looked after is very apparent).
But at least I know the van inside-out now.

Except for the odd electrical upgrade I want to do - add esp deactivation for off-road/snow and get my Skoda heated seat working.

I would have snapped up yours, though, just for the 4-wheel drive!

I fitted a carpet!
My wife complained of cold feet when we stayed out recently.
I bought some cheap contract carpet which doesn’t fray when cut.
I figured the legs of the rock&roll bed didn’t touch the floor until the bed is extended forwards and until some weight is on the bed. A few mm clearance otherwise. And it works fine. The carpet was cut so the ridges pattern are parallel to the bed leg movement, and the bed legs (just) ride over the carpet without ruckling it.
A good thing I think.
I had to buy a 4m width of carpet - so there is enough left over for two more fittings when this one gets too dirty!

I bought two carpet samples and used some twine to tie them to the Wife's feet.

She gets the luxury carpet feeling all day long and it only cost me a quid.
