What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Stock suspension (t32 at a guess)??
Oh, I (my wallet!) wish...

Stock caravelle suspension (with -30mm springs fitted by previous owner) all replaced by a CRS Koni Special kit + H&R ARB's + 20mm lift kit on the front. Still sits around 10mm lower than a panel van would though!! Caravelles are heavy beasts!!

That (or -20mm) is the magic number i want to maintain. Dont want to drop it as I loose the ground clearance and dont want to lift it as I loose the car park access.
Dam this eternal compromise (and want to finish the overall build before I consider air, might not have anywhere to left to fit the compressors / tanks when I'm done)

Stock suspension (t32 at a guess)?? Edit, scrap that, I was reading your build thread the other day around the Mountain bikes.... loving your work! Quite local to me too!
Cheers!! Another local too!! Yeah the van is basically "finished" right now, but I do have a list of some extra internal and electrical bits I want to add/upgrade, and I want to add some exterior upgrades like some arch trims, lazer lamps and/or a light bar (you can never have too much light!), some awning/side lighting, maybe a rear ladder... oooh and maybe a roof tent...

Yeah it's a good height, I'm over 2m as I have the roof rack and solar/awning so I just ignore any car parks with height restrictions! I would have loved it to be actually lifted but I think the weight of the caravelle with all the extra gubbins (heaters, flooring etc etc) stops that from being possible unless you go for a full on heavy duty set up.

The before pictures look comical to me now, it looks like it was on shopping trolley castors!! The ride was like a shopping trolley too!!

Tell us more @Iany1954 , I could use one of those for powering some pretty lights around the awning or even the flagpole! Have you got a link?!
It’s not cheap but does seem reliable and waterproof!

Not today sorry but in-between crimbo n NY I fitted some 17” Rogue Rampage+ with Michelin Agilis cross climates. I have been running 20”s with HnR 40mm lowering spring and was fed up with the harsh ride and pot hole dodging. I camp a lot in my van and hopefully this will allow me to use it more in the winter months too. Next in the list some Renogy goodies and hun caps...!

I love this look - did you swap out for standard suspension? if not did you alter the ride height when you took the 20's off? I wanna get some swamper wheels but feel I need to revert to standard suspension. How much were the tires and rims pls?

Hi kev and guys at last fitted the dry mat today. The large draw fits perfectly but the single seat draw needed a bit of modification (see pics) as it sits on top of the covers that fit over the seat brackets. Hope this makes sense. Both boxes are 12mm ply not 9 mm as described earlier. As said earlier do a test fit before covering IMG_0384.jpegIMG_0385.jpegIMG_0386.jpeg

Another mod fitting the JBl Basepro nano to complement the SpC-108T speakers and DSP capabilities of the Halo 11. Adds nice depth to the sound but not overwhelmingly and is compact and unobtrusive

100% can't have enough light (although the OEM LED headlight are pretty darn good).

Hahaha at the castors(I know what you mean, I'll post a comparison pick in a minute )

Well I gave it a wash yesterday although on airport run in the middle of the night later and you would never know today!
