Hi @spook ..watching these posts fills my cup of human kindness and seeing the pleasure and dare I say the love you show your Birds ..it’s times like this..that our animals as well as loved ones make life seem a bit more bearable...I’ve got a rescue patterdale ..12y now ..she doesn’t ask for much but gives back in buckets..

No hes not small Eagle Owls will eat almost anything the moves - from beetles to roe deer fawns. The major part of their diet consists of mammals (Voles, rats, mice, foxes, hares etc...), but birds of all kinds are also taken, including crows, ducks, grouse, seabirds, and even other birds of prey (including other owls

Thanks I agree with that,, luv the patterdale We used to do a bit for the irish wolfhound rescue ,havin owned 8 over the yrs check out the seat VWBUD FEST.jpg s super little dog loads of go ,,
 
Today, I will mostly have not driven 500 miles (does that sound a little Proclaimers-ish?) from home to the first NC500 campsite at Beauly. :cry:

Nearly popped into Torquay on the way to St Just ..A380 and M5 didn’t feel as busy ..unusual for a bank holiday weekend? :cry::cry:
 
Today, I have mostly not driven from Beauly and over to over Applecross for campsite No. 2 on the NC500 and most definitely not had a few pints and not had a lovely meal in the Applecross Inn.
More campsites not to follow...
