Nice clean site.
We had pitch number 51, catching the sun from 0800 to 2000hrs, the toilet block was open, but no showers at the mo.
Used it as a base for visits to Dalby Forest then Scarborough (for the obligatory seaside fish & chips) and finally visited Fountains Abbey @ Ripon, before heading back home Friday PM

Nice one - is that popup tent for sleeping or storage? What type is it please?

We just use it for storage - chairs & stuff

This one - 2 seconds EASY 3 Tent - 3 people
I put it up & Mrs moomin-j folds it back together, whilst I watch & laugh.
There is certainly a knack to get it folded back into the back, which I have not yet mastered

Used it for 2 years now, in all weathers including 2 x named storms last year.
Brilliant for the price paid.
Only downside is you may need better pegs, as the ones supplied are just bog standard.

@moomin-j. Again, thanks. Tent manufacturers almost always supply crappy pegs and as seasoned tenters we have an ample supply of good ones lying around. All I’ve got to do now is get to a Decathlon either with a dedicated trip or wait until we go near one on the way to somewhere else as we’re in a Decathlon free zone.

Today, took the dogs to the beach and it was freezing compared to home with mist and sea fret at first.
Still a nice walk on beach.
Oh, it was Marske on Sea, between Redcar and Saltburn.

Took a drive over the North Yorkshire Moors to Pickering via Great Ayton, Kildale and Rosedale Abbey. Lovely scenery.

Route back from Pickering was A169 towards Whitby, passing RAF Fylingdale, Goathland, Egton Bridge before routing to Guisborough and then Teesside.
