Got a campsite review? Looks perfect for an up and coming weekend away.

The site we are at is ,

The Campsite, Runswick Bay and local area • Serenity Camping

Site is very clean & tidy , showers very clean & plenty of hot water, there’s a great information hut with WiFi.

Great location we walked to Runswick bay in around 20 mins, Staithes a little bit more. In the village there is a Fish & Chip shop, Pub, a bit dated but ok , a butchers and a Cafe/ Bistro.

We had electric so were in the main field which is Ok but if you can manage for a couple of nights without the lower tent field is nice ,there is also another separate tent field.



It is a very popular site so give them a call rather than going with the on line booking.

Just set up in France all sorted and dead fly’s cleaned off so all ship shape. One very happy son after 10 hrs of traveling.

Camping just outside Sidmouth Devon on a private grass airstrip, makes for an exciting afternoon as they land and take off through the campsite

Having a great time in the Netherlands before moving onto France on Thursday

The Brewery Tap in Abingdon for some food and beer after work with the Lads. Great pub, great food and the Apartments are 20 yards away. Here for the next few weeks and already treated like a local. Not bad this working away malarky. Free overnight parking as well.
This was last week but back again tomorrow, unfortunately in a Hire van (Transit).

Unfortunately, its not me personally enjoying this, as my son and his GF have taken our van to Croatia!!
Apparently lots of great sunsets and my precious on the ferry from Split to one of the Islands.
Only 1 more week until I get it back!!

WOW. I don't even like my kids sitting in my van let alone driving it to Croatia. You're a braver man than me.

That brings back memories I worked there for 3 years on the didcot power station when I was 22 I am 46 now. I had dogs in Abingdon and spent a lot of time and money in that pub and also had a lot of good memories. pre marriage
