Why does a fella with a money no object budget want to sleep in a van?
Who said anything about sleeping? Actually it’s for race meetings - mobile office. He has a large motorhome currently, but wants to go back to a transporter so he can take the kids to the beach on day trips etc

OK, so is a campervan right for him? If it's not to camp in, a bespoke day van conversion may be of more use?

Yes defo, we need to be able to knock up food, review race car telemetry and hold meetings etc. Plus he wants something that’s in stock ideally so he can get it before racing starts next month.

I saw this the other day.

Did you cringe when the dude magnetised the temp controller to the side of the £100K+ van?

Here:
Shame they haven’t sorted the suspension out though …..look at how it’s arse is dragging and the front sitting up. Needs a trip to CRS!

Holding meetings?
'Outsiders' have a weird idea of how much room there is in a T6 campervan ;)

That's how I used my Cali Beach during Covid. A mobile office where I could have meetings and make a brew. It was a proper little ice-breaker with clients too......they loved it

He’s not an ‘outsider’ he’s had a Cali and his teammate has a T6 camper. Race meetings are usually very loud and busy, so having somewhere quite for debriefs is always welcomed. Like I said he has a motorhome currently, but we struggle in some paddocks as it’s too big.

He needs to be talking to Mclaren Sports Homes or similar, tho they tend to build on Sprinters or Crafters. A T6 would be too small or awkward for a meeting unless he gets one with rails possibly?

Maybe a California might suit?
