Wind deflectors... which ones?

Heko were fine until one flew off, also noted they do work loose even with the clips, wont buy them again so looking for a different set by a different manufacture

Having real problems getting wind deflectors that actually fit my T6.1 Caravelle.

Had 2 sets from Travelin lite, neither fit properly. Got a set of Heko off ebay, still didn't fit right.

Flipping Grrrrrrr.....

You need to replace their 2 sided tape with a high bond version - the tape on mine let go with the moisture but haven't since replacement.

Same problem here! Passenger is side ok but drivers makes a noise which is irritating. Team heko too.

I may try a piece of rubber on the inside of the deflector or position the clips in a different position.

Hmm I got heko's to but have no probs at all piss easy to fit no rattling look good fitted I'd recommend them tbh, I was convinced I'd fitted them wrong cause so quick to fit

That is strange...
I have had other hekos and they were ok... I.ay try and refit them to see if that works...

Hmm. I have Heko ones and don’t get any noise. Didn’t on last van either.

@scotia - I must admit. this is my 2nd set!
The 1st set, my drivers deflector fell out whilst driving within 3 days of being fitted.
Vw Sheffield replaced FOC and for the last 1.5 yrs - all is well.

I find them useful when camping as you can drop them an inch or 2 to let air circulate even if it rains.
I know that other folk use Heko or Dubflectas etc, but the OEM ones seem to do the trick
Also, I think they look a little neater without having to use sticky tape, being fitted externally as some others use, by inserting clips in the window gap to secure them.

I am after a set of team heko wind deflectors for my front windows - where is the best place/deal to purchase them from?

I am think of getting a set of Team Heko wind deflectors for my T6 front windows?

Just checking wind deflectors are a good idea?

Also wondering if there are any great deals out there or other wind deflector brands which I should be made aware off before I order?

Definitely a good thing. Although it might look like a naff 90s addon, they allow you to open the front windows an inch for ventilation while you're camping without the rain getting in. I've had my Heko deflectors on for 3yrs and they've been great.

I’ve got the VW ones from the dealer parts dept. You’ll get a whole load of wind noise. Fine if you like loud music

I wouldn’t say they’re ‘life changing’ by any means. They do stop some of the wind blast when you have the window open a few cm, but anymore then that and they make no difference at all IMO, I have noticed increase wind noise on the drivers side too. A plus though is, we can have the windows open a crack when we’re sleeping in the van and the rain doesn’t come in.

I would only get them if you need to open your windows for ventilation when stationary i.e. in a camper.
I think they add noise generally otherwise.

For me, a plus point of having fitted wind deflectors is that I can afford to leave the windows open a little (about 1") thus letting some air flow through. My view is that's a good thing especially in winter as it helps stop damp accumulating when the van might unused for a while. FWIW, I've got Dubflacta Classics and the plastic is dark enough that you can't see any gaps unless you press your nose up against it.. I've found the wind deflectors themselves to be very good but the firms communication are terrible and I don't think I'd like to be in a position where I was trying to talk warranty issues with them. I think others on her have had a similar experience.
