Windbreak Recommendations ?

Put a search on E Bay. They often come up from Caravan & Motor Home people selling up.

Keep looking I bought a set from someone showing dogs with a gate and extras.

The Quecha one from Decathlon. Cheap as chips and taller than most.

Hi all,

slight hijack if I may… do these kind of windbreaks work well on sand too? (I spotted @Sammy’s pic) - am asking for beach use rather than campsite grass.

We have the traditional wooden pole beach one but it’s heavy so thinking this may be a better option.

Cheers
Dan

I was living in Germany when I started camping (pre-van, in a tent). We used to go to Italy (Lake Garda) a lot, and always used to laugh at the obvious Brits with their pitch carefully staked out with windbreaks. Of course, once we ventured back to the isles and were reminded how comparatively windy it is here, and how that wind can just chill you when sitting outside, all became clear.

They should do, not tried mine but the poles go down into the ground a fair way.

But they are still heavy, I don't think they would be any lighter than a similar-sized wooden one.
