Work van Wednesday

No one back at work yet? ;)

Busy here. Tipped some stuff, as the poor people shovelling crap out of their non-tipper trailers watched on.

I do like my new 18s and Uniroyal Rainsports. How I spent so long on those uncomfortable 20s is a mystery.

New electricity supply to a flat down a long alley with grumpy neighbours....

Kept them all at bay by telling them there was gas leak and they couldn't drive down the alley... It was only Domino's delivery drivers that probably didn't have a licence anyway.

Then dug through and had to fix this. I was even less popular. Luckily it wasn't gas.....

Now just waiting for SSE to come and put a cable in the trench ......

Late back home with a few Kronenbourgs and a divine chicken madras.... After about the sixth tinny I came across this thread..

Next thing I knew....

Delivered yesterday.

More scabby refurbs today. Might have an early bath and stick the dash in.

WVW.
Filthy Bus due to last weeks frost on the Gritted Roads.
Digging out footings for a rear double storey extension.
Drains moved too. Didn’t hit a water pipe but found a concrete fish pond under the patio which was full of black stagnant water yuk.

Which wheels did you go for?
Velocity VF1 wheels, as a package with Uniroyal Rainsport tyres. 18". From LK Performance.

Never heard of them before, but package above with wheel nuts & locknuts was £1391.

I bought my van with pretty Rotiform 20s on. Paid £500 for a refurb, went through expensive tyres and the ride was harsh. Scraped 3 of the alloys again over the next 25k miles. Needed 4 tyres, was looking at similar money for anther refurb and quality tyres. Mine is a proper working van, it didn't suit 20s, so went down to 18s. The difference is ride is amazing. I wish I'd known earlier. I must get the Rotiforms up for sale as someone would love them I'm sure.

Rub it in why don't you. I hope you didn't fall in the pond.

It was even worse as I went to the merchants to get two Plasson 25mm MDPE to iron adapters and other bits for the repair. Supposed to be the same. Nearly came to blows with one of the ground workers as I got the first one on and the elbow etc, he couldn't get the second one on, dug the hole bigger, got the stilsons out and started swearing. I may have suggested he perhaps didn't know what the phuck he was doing. Then I couldn't get it on, and we found out the twunt in the merchant had give me two different size adapters. I had to rush back, get the proper one and put it all back together. All's well that ends well though.

Site Banter lol. Of course I’ve never hit a water pipe or caught a incoming mains cable before ;)

Are the VF1s black or graphite?
