In regards to the vinyl, most wrap of the decent vinyls are air release now you want wrap vinyl not a standard vinyl. These require no adhesive just release the liner and apply.
Clear PPF would require a slip solution to apply and can not be done dry.

I don't suppose you could source a teal/turqoise vinyl. I'm wanting to wrap the front grill trims I have previously painted, but now flaking. I've seen a product with the code M7-166-122 which seems to be a fairly close match. TIA.
Well my sheet of gloss vinyl wrap arrived on Thursday so I set to work with a hairdryer and craft knife and plenty of heating and stretching to wrap the front VW badge.
And hey presto I put this on this morning.

Wrapping it is likely to make matters worse by stopping it breathing. You would be better to add ventilation to the shed and make sure the seat is clean and dry before storing away uncovered. Mould will form on any dirt whatever you do so cleaning it is key.

I’m doing exactly the same but getting odd colours as the vans going to have a lower half wrap. There’a quite a few cheap bumpers on eBay at the moment, shouldnt cost much to get them sprayed up.
