Bought a second hand folding seat bracket off EBay and I fitted it today. Now we can use our table without swivelling the double seat also useful to gain access to the pop top roof.

Carbon wing decals applied.... Could be temporary at the moment. Look better on than when I first received them. Nothing to do with Star Wars though, nickname from cycling days. Wife's suggestion

Well my sheet of gloss vinyl wrap arrived on Thursday so I set to work with a hairdryer and craft knife and plenty of heating and stretching to wrap the front VW badge.
And hey presto I put this on this morning.


This being the gloss black one that I ordered from eBay on Thursday afternoon after a whole lot of swearing and throwing crinkled pieces of black wrap in the bin.
Hats off to anyone that can wrap stuff lol

Fitted this dinky little switched twin 12V socket, dual usb and volt meter. It fits in a cradle which can be stuck down stopping it moving when underway.

Slightly unorthodox but having pondered on fitting my swivel table to the B pillar i opted to fit it to the centre console. With charger, tyre inflator, jump starter and other tools in the console, its sturdy. Fully tested with a mug of tea in all positions and as a writing table

Not today but yesterday.
I removed the chrome TRANSPORTER lettering and the 4 motion badge

And replaced with the black version.

However, the red in the 4 mo badge is nothing like the TDi so the TDi badges might have to go, or be painted black and red to match.
And my replacement black VW badge hasn’t arrived yet.

Big day yesterday - 10 hours in total spent on the van. Fitted the leather seat covers that @Carp catcher sold me, and had new tyres fitted. Also changed the side repeaters to black. Loving it.

Before set off quick air con check
Top up 138g gas and 5g oil to system. Nice and chilly on way back .

Changed the front EGR pipe. Had a leak developing so bit the bullet and did it before it got any worse. Pretty straightforward, but a bit tight/fiddly at the inlet manifold end with one of the torx screws.
