...done if you want hook up I would run some arctic cable in conduit now, it’s not that expensive if you buy from an electrical wholesalers and then you can add the CU and sockets later. I put my consumer unit under the bonnet out of the way and used the grommet behind the battery to run the cable.

Pick up the +ve from the starter battery via a suitable fuse, come through the grommet in the bulkhead behind the starter battery to wherever the B2B is located. Pick up a body earth stud close to the charger.
...off, you will need a puller tool though.
Pull the plastic cowling off and you can see clearly if the holes are blocked. They aren’t that big so this would be your issue.
There is also a large grommet to the right of the steering shaft although these are quite a good fit so I doubt it’s that.
Yea I do recall searching around a fair bit. There’s a removable panel behind my rear locker. I think that’s how I found access.
I used a coat hanger. Attached the end of the cord to the end with electrical tape. And I also used long zip ties to find a path and then pull the wire through.
Thanks, this is encouraging! I have a standard Skyline. Though I'm intrigued how you managed to find the grommet with it being completely boxed in. Did you use rods?
...the ridge all the way to the back. I popped out the round lights to help me move it along
- at the back corner it was tricky finding the grommet behind my rear cupboard but I got there

...put away- 80% sure the issue was the loose front roof rail. Still waiting on others to input before using the sealant! I’ve found blanking grommets on eBay- various sizes so hopefully straight forward fix on that front. I bought the van converted, paper work shows that Wakefield Van Works...
There is a grommet through the bulkhead behind the battery, which you can access without removing the battery. Inside the vehicle it is high up above the passengers feet.
Have a search on the forum for info.

Yeah, you can see my 240v Victron battery charger to the right. Cables leave the van via the grommet under the drivers seat and are routed in conduit under the body cavity and in through a new hole and grommet into the step area and are all then behind that carpeted ply panel that has the 12v...
...new wire :) I need to solder and put interior trim back tomorrow.
Anyone who finds this wanting to do anything in future to the bcm, the grommet under the driver side inspection panel (behind airbox) enters right at the bcm.
The BCM wiring is also actually OK to get to, I just removed the...
I bought some little hole plugs off eBay, they look absolutely fine (matte textured finish) and they've stayed in for the last 3k or so. Search for hole plugs or blanking grommets, the ones I got were for 14-21mm holes and they were under a fiver.
