Yeah i have no DPF issues and have no intention of making changes there, only reason sending me to blank and map the EGR is that the garage i spoke to told me that it may be a better option that exchanging the EGR given how expensive and labor intensive it is..........

Its the best engine imho no ad blue, EGR and DPF have been great too.. the long drives really help :) its a sad sale!

EGR delete and remap at 29,654 miles in August 2021. Van now on 38,900 miles, no issues, passed 3 MOT's since. Did it because it cost £250 and a new EGR would have been over a £1000 and would have needed replacing again eventually. Also not happy about all the soot and sh1t being pumped back...

If it's deleted properly then you should never hear from it again. I have 100,000 miles on a ford with a deleted EGR and it's been faultless.

Got the same with my 20 plt. Vw said poss egr or software. Egr company said it was fine but sensor was reading 70mm when should be 30mm. Was intermittent, now constant. Do want to update as have a remap on it
