    EGR issues

Hi all, I had a PO46C00 fault code on my VW T6 102 67 pleate euro 6. Had some diagnostics done and EGR wasn't functioning and rear flexi pipe had split. Replaced the EGR unit, intercooler and pipe. Van drove well for about a mile and the light has come back on the dash with a loss of power...

    Egr pid's

Check EGR rear and front pipes for splits or leaks, very common. Here’s a search on forum regarding the pipes: Search results for query: egr pipe Could be a clogged EGR or something else as well but pipes are easiest to rule out.

I had the same code recently, garage I took the van to reckoned readings didn’t suggest a clogged EGR, on further investigation he found a split in the EGR to exhaust manifold rear pipe which he replaced along with new gaskets. Recently the Caravelle 150PS 2015 T6 engine management light came on. Luckily my brother has a bodyshop and I put the van on his Autel machine. Here I presume lies the problem I also get exhaust fumes in the cab and my local garage has said there is a split in the concertina pipe which is...

    EGR fault

Fuel preference won’t make any difference before or after a fault develops. It could be caused by one or more of the following. 1. Split or leaking EGR gas circuit, often a cracked pipe at the bellows, will be a strong smell of exhaust gases / soot stains on pipe. If so replace the pipe, there...

Seeking Solutions for Drowsiness While Driving T6 California – Insights Needed!

Suspension / wobbly drive would be my guess as well. But check for split egr pipe although most report exhaust smell in the cab. Heated windscreen was a pretty good guess as well, I don’t have one so don’t know how visible the grid is.
