Thanks, take it there haven't been any issues with good adhesion to the glossy PPF/wrap over time, so might be the way for me to go. Although it's on the roof, I'd still rather avoid a wrap that is too different to the paint or solar panel surround.
I’ve had two recent quotes for a lower wrap on our SWB startline van, so not having the front and back bumpers wrapped, using a plain gloss colour £1200 and £1300, no idea if this is the average, I guess so as fairly close…
Looking at previous post re "wrapping silver bits" I've got shiny steel side bars on my SWB, and I'm thinking is it poss (and potentially cheaper than buying black replacements) to wrap these blingy bits?!

...just bought what's basically a padded noodle mitt on the end of a broom handle.
It is for the roof only and uses the same 2-bucket process as the wash mitt. My roof is vinyl wrapped matt black and if the mitt does cause any issues (which is won't) it will be about due for a replacement wrap...
