VCDS, but no idea of the costs associated?

thing is, if I hire it will it come with a laptop as I don't have one?
Well I live just outside hinckley and I’ve got 2 Macbooks. Not sure the VCDS will work on a Mac though.thing is, if I hire it will it come with a laptop as I don't have one?
If one of your MacBooks has an Intel chip then you can install WIndows via Bootcamp.Well I live just outside hinckley and I’ve got 2 Macbooks. Not sure the VCDS will work on a Mac though.
Not a chance of Windows going anywhere near me, my kit or my gaffIf one of your MacBooks has an Intel chip then you can install WIndows via Bootcamp.
I use a mac, with vmware fusion and a virtual w7 VM for vcdsWell I live just outside hinckley and I’ve got 2 Macbooks. Not sure the VCDS will work on a Mac though.
Where are you based Loz?I use a mac, with vmware fusion and a virtual w7 VM for vcds
ahh, niiiiiice...Go for an Obd11 works a treat, same as vcds, no laptops cables etc.
Can clear the codes and force regen
When doing a forced regen I can see live data of my dpf, egr temps if I want on Obd11, soot level, the lot, there's about a million parameters if you want themAhem, there is a fundamental difference between OBDeleven and VCDS.
OBDeleven can launch all the same diagnostics and basic settings routines as VCDS. However, by using VCDS sensors (e.g. DPF temperature) can be monitored to keep track how things progress - without it's more or less fire up and cross your fingers.
E.g.
DPF Regen Frequency / Issues / Force discussion.
:D - impressive! Have you tried to trigger by VCDS: -Service regeneration of particulate filter -Service regeneration of particulate filter while driving Please post 1) full engine section of VCDS scan 2) full measument block data from the engine - how-to here -->...www.t6forum.com
Alternatively, perhaps I'd be better investing in VCDS, but no idea of the costs associated? I currently have CARISTA but obviously won't do the trick.
