Good morning can anyone advise please?

Amble range warning came on with ---- miles remaining. No previous warning. Topped up with about 8lts. The same warning message remains on.
Van still running but not sure if it may stop as it thinks the tank is empty? any thoughts?

Many thanks, Bruce.

Does your top up with the correct amount it asked for?

T6 or 6.1?

Sounds like you haven't done the reset. I think its switch the ignition on for 30 sec or so and then check the read out.

Thanks for the reply, I've only just got this van and I didn't know about the 30 second reset with the ignition, so yes you are right I didn't do that. I've tried it since but to no avail.
I was surprised that there was no prior notice that a top up was required, it just came up with the message that there were no miles remaining.
Thanks for your help.

I've just done mine this morning, but I was watching the range go down, and then yesterday I got the 1200 miles left, so I put 10ltrs in this morning. I now have 13k to go. What trim model do you have? Does it have the full MFD? If not, you may not get a count down, or it may not be activated in the vehicle menu.

Hi, Yes its a transporter T32 Tai Combi 2018. Not sure about the 'full' MFD. I would have expected some sort of warning that the adblue level is getting low rather than it suddenly saying there is no range remaining. Sounds like a sensor problem maybe?
Thanks,

Have you put ad blue in before or is it a new to you van?
Is it possible that as blue has been coded out.
Did it flash up as a warning or did you cycle through the DIS to see that message displayed?

Hi, no I've only had the van about four weeks, yes its possible this has been coded out, I read some older threads here, and when the adblue had been coded out and the 'range remaining ----' is the same as my message. It just came up as a warning I haven't cycled through the DIS. My main concern is that the van will just stop because it thinks there is no adblue in the tank, it is actually full! thanks for all your helpful comments.
