Nice I'm guessing you just get a bigger one and cut it to shapeMine too Think i will fit a matt screen protector looking at the reflections in pictures.
That's the plan. I've not had a good look at the display yet but hopefully it will be straight forward enough.Nice I'm guessing you just get a bigger one and cut it to shape
It went off by itself. I can’t control it with VCDS.Im reasonably sure speed warning has always been an option in the virtual - It would be software only within the Linux virtual dash OS for sure, since you can calibrate your speed it's the only way It could be doing it I think, OEM board reading OEM speeds only.
So your speed warning went by itself? or wasn't showing as latched on in VCDS but still bonged?
I would overnight in the camper and hope to do 3-4 in a day. Preference to push for 4 if possible, one could be the morning after if it was first thing, and it would be in the week preferably. All Doable though! How many guys do we need to get wanting one of these fitted would it take for @antony.charnley to consider a trip north of the border ?

Hi, prices are on my site link if you want to send that around to others.Food for thought
How much are they supply and fit?
Thanks
Just a thought about a matte film: the surface of the display is a polymer, which might off-gas over time and leave bubbles.Mine too Think i will fit a matt screen protector looking at the reflections in pictures.
Mine doesn’t have SA but @antony.charnley ‘s might. Can you turn side assist on and off with it?
Awesome setupRight it's the weekend so I think i need to give my son a thrashing at Chess then grab a beer and jump on the sim for my other love of ACC (Assetto Corsa Competizione).

Bring your driving gloves, you can get a few laps around Spa in my McLaren 720s GT3 EVO. The whole rig shakes with full vehicle telematics though the frame. On full whack it makes your vision blurry and your arms ache. If you can beat my lap time with no assists before I can fit your digidash you can have free fitting! Lol..Awesome setup
...and would make a great marketing video. Now there's a challenge
Hi yes, it's quite a list. I will try and get the all on the site. PM me what you've got and I will check, are you just after a go on my sim?@antony.charnley do you do these for other VAG vehicles?
Would love to see these video, I'm so tempted by the digital Dash.SO tomorrow. I plan to put together some helpful videos for the Virtual Dash / Digital Dash / Digidash- this will include (time-stamped):
- Revert from Digital back to analogue (full reverse), i.e. sale or regret (latterly doubtful).
- Full Unboxing of the unit as received, including fitting kit
- Full Install tips and setup, including dash cut & calibration, and usage
- Things to be aware of: Troubleshooting help, i.e. installed speed alert return, dashboard signalling disappearance and known fixes (to date) should you ever experience any of them.
I will try to do it with minimal editing, so let's see how it goes. I must remember not to ramble on, as I tend to do once I get onto my favourite subjects. I am hoping this guide will serve as a decent install reference for the kit to enable you to decide whether to purchase or enquire about supply and fitting: www.everest-vw.co.uk
Either way, if you find it useful, please share with others, and if you feel the need, please like and subscribe, as I will be adding more to the channel, particularly concerning reviewing stuff I have adapted and upgraded on my Cali Ocean over the years, I genuinely thought the list was complete, the list is never complete! We know this now!
(I will post what I have done around the van in another thread just in case others want to quiz me on my life choices)
