That is the best way.Use the door button to lock the van when camping.
many thanks . Off to dig the manual out that doesn’t fit in the van!
I think you press the bottom. It changes colour when you press it. You have to have drivers door open when you do it. I normally only use it when pop top is up and locking van as otherwise wind can set alarm off.I'm never sure if I've set it correctly. Do you press the top or bottom of the switch?
And how do you know it's activated? I think it changes colour, but it's difficult to see before and after
I just use the door button as @Loz suggests.
Red to Orange...I only use ours if the dog is in the van when we are shopping or if the pop top is being aired.
It changes from orange to red.
Like others have mentioned when camping, and you want it locked use the drivers door switch
It locks with the doors on pressing the button.Sort of related, when you lock it manually to sleep in the van, how do you lock the tailgate?
Just checking to see if people were paying attentionRed to Orange...
Lock the doors from the inside using the rocker type lock button switch on the drivers door just below the mirror switches. Just remember that it is then a double pull on the internal door handle to open and opening one door will only unlock that one not all.Newby so probably been asked before?!
When we lock up the van for the night to sleep what is the process so we stop the alarm going off every time we roll over?!!
TIA

This is good as, if you have an awning, then the slide door can be used but all the other doors and boot stay locked.
It can still be a faff if, like me, you always forget until bedtime and you have to clamber over a swivelled drivers seat piled high with bags and it’s pitch black in that corner as the external blackout screens are fitted......hahaThanks - never knew that! Always found it a faff to open the driver's door, operate the switch, close and lock with key fob....
