so, they should fit fine; you may just notice the gearing change initally, but for most people it is soon forgotten. Do you carry heavy loads?
...I'm going round in circles...
Don't the Americans always brag, Bigger, Better, Longer..I would suspect 30k++ miles, you start off with around 15mm of tread I think (twice the 8mm of a standard tyre). On the American forums people talk about 50k miles!!!!!!
The look wicked, any noticeable difference with mpg or noise?Yes mate all standard
Hi Loz, do you have the bigger brakes on your bus? If so where did you get your steels?View attachment 7800

Did you have any problems when weight in the back.Fitted and quick test drive all seems good, takes harshness out of H&R 40mm lowered springs. No rubbing yet but big test will be when the bike is in the back!

100% spacers 25mm all round or even slightly larger on the rears (your choice) HR+ are a good starting point.I’m still a bit baffled and need help please.
I’m powder coating some 17” steels and lowering the van (t32) on cobra 40mm springs.
What’s best tyre to use.
225 x 65 bf Goodrich or
235 x 65 grabber at3.
Also do I need spacers.
Thanks
Mine are Tuff Torque modular wheels 17 x 8 inch ET40 (they are an inch wider each side outwards) but are no wider on the inside, fitted with B F Goodrich 225 65 17 . My suspension is standard. They do not rub on full lock. They drive nice. The speedo is exact at 70mph. The paint on the steels is prone to fall off and rust so I had them powdercoated, my powdercoater said the paint just fell off in places, poor prep. The only downside is the road noise is very loud, enough for the wife to moan about but not loud enough to drown her out.
