Any Plumbers In The House?

I use sink and bath unblocker from poundland, works a treat. You pour down some chemical, push a plastic thing down the plug hole and then pull it out and then gag seeing the putrid hair ball you have just removed.

I dont like chemical cleaners ! At all, rots rubber !
Wonder if you got push fit waste fittings ? This push fit waste pipe bends and sags over time especially when hot unless its excessively clipped and supported. Crap on a long run.
Solvent weld wast is much better and more rigid, wonder what they used ?

I'm a Plumber
Happy to come look if needed Sir

Try COKE full fat.
Scoop as much water out way as you can
Pour two liters of COKE in and leave for a couple hours

Works to unblock toilets too !

If not
Fairy liquid original
Remove as much water as possible, pour half bottle fairy liquid down plug hole, leave for 1 hour, then boil three kettles of water into a bucket and goosh it down plug hole
hot water expands fairy liquid
Jobs done

I didn't realise that was your trade mate, I just assumed you traded in mudflaps and told stories about your pop top adventures for spare change.... ok, I will try your methods tomorrow. (Haven't purchased cola since I was a kid)

Can you get at the run from the bend/trap at all? If so how far away is the blockage from when you used the snake? Can you get some lengths of cable access rods down to give the blockage a biffing, perhaps fitting a plastic disc (top of an aerosol cap cut to size) to push down some drain gear direct to the blockage and leave for a few hours/overnight and then give it a good seeing to with the rods?

From what you have described it does sound like a floor up job and increase fall and diameter of the pipe.

What about the drain rods you can get for the karchers?. Have you had a inspection camera down the trap?.

Fill yourself up with steak and chips then do a massive poo down it to clear it like a depth charge hitting a sub!

Edit: Having now read the thread I would like to withdraw this suggestion  :D

Can you not take the trap out, then try the snake from the the clean end of the pipe under the bath ? Not sure what snake you have bought, but these ones that you crank round are very good at extracting congealed hair/soap balls. Push down, cranking as you go, when you hit the obstruction, crank and pull back, will pull chunks out of the blockage if it's hair/soap/wetwipes/Dr. Whites etc..;

Drain Unblocker 6mm x 6m

Assuming there is a ‘fall’ on the bath waste and that your not shoving water uphill
Connect a hose pipe with a nozzle to mains water, put into the waste strainer on bath, seal around with a rag or suspected offenders pants.
Apply full flow through the nozzle making a tight seal with ‘pants’ to ensure all water goes down the waste pipe and not back filling the bath.
If it doesn’t unblock your f^#ked, start pulling it apart.
When you get it clear use a small amount of bleach once a month and if it starts to back up use the hose before it’s fully blocked.
If this doesn’t work it’s probably the EGR.

thats exactly as i did

except, went to poundland, and bought a plunger, with a shyte wooden handle

removed the handle and cut through with a small holesaw where the handle went,
just the right size for the hosepipe nozzle ( one where you get a jet ) or a spread

put the plunger bit over the wastegate, insert hosepipe nozzle and let rip

it even catered for a karcher nozzle in it to really blow it through

i had the same issue, pipework boxed in and fully tiled ( i did it lol ) and was a continuous run of pipe into the stack, so no risk of blowing fittings out etc

mine was caused by the good lady and daughters love of bath products and long hair!!!!!!
