I'm seeing that extra lighting and switches seem to be a common item so will be looking at that. Got the van booked in for feb 3rd but can make changes up to 10 weeks before.
We have a LWB with a tailgate .
I had 2 LED lights fitted into the tailgate door.
It's great when tailgate door open and lights illuminate all the back area.
Very useful option
Following our first proper outing..
A USB charging point in the roof beside the poptop bed. So I can watch catch ups in bed even with a flat phone battery

I had a USB point in the dash on my t5.1, then used a long power cable to charge. Worked a treat. I've also seen my mate have two led spotlights with a USB built in. Great idea.

Is this run off your leisure battery or just when the door opens, I had it originally off the door opening but then it goes off after a certain time, easy enough to put them through a 12v rocker switch.

Another one comes to mind from our recent bimble..
A method of switching the gas bottle off from inside the van.
Our gas bottle is in the rear and only accessible if you open the tailgate.
Not really a problem, but it would make life much lazier if it had a remote signal switch in the kitchen or cab.
I was reading a thread the other day with someone asking about turning their gas over night as making the first brew in the morning is a pain as they have to open the rear door to turn the gas on. I'm going to ask the converters if it's at all possible to have a little door in the base of the wardrobe that can then be used to access the gas bottle.
Someone also mentioned a light source on the outside of the van when you're in the awning. I like this idea and will be exploring it further. I do like to have plenty of lighting options so many of the above points will be getting looked at.
