Audi RS4 Seat Upgrade

Hi Fletch here are some photos of heated seat wiring
On my van driver’s side original loom has 3 wires grey brown and yellow Audi has 4 wires brown/white red green and green/brown connected as follows:
Green and Red join grey .
Brown joins brown/white.
Yellow joins green/brown.

Passenger side is similar but green wire instead of yellow.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
Hope this helps mate .

Hi guys I just get 2 Audi q7 seats and plan to install them and wonder if someone can show me how you guys wire electrics as mine its a bit botched by previous owner and wonder what to do lol
To be honest not sure what exactly model or year they come from only as Q7 rs seats as guy who i purchased from he buy them for his t4 but then he get Porsche seats instead and only what he know it was fitted in t5 before but wires are cut in a lot places and not sure if I should put them together as originally should be or try work out. Its look like each movements of seat been done separately as plus minus conection but this way you cant use side buttons to operate.. ffs buy cheap and ends with headaches

Hi Snakelimit I fitted a pair of Audi r/s 4 seat in my 2015 t5.1 late last year from a 2022 car . Stan the man told me how to do the wiring but the electrics on my seats were fully intact with coloured block connectors. I had to remove the block connectors from my van and the Audi seats also I did not need the seat airbags loom as my van only has airbags in the steering wheel and passenger dash . If it’s any help I could send you some photos.

Ok mate this is how my wiring looks on the drivers side all functions are working including seat heaters but not the massage function which I’m not bothered about. As a safety feature I wired mine through a fused circuit under the passenger seat with a fuse tap (15amp works fine but I found 10 amp would blow ) I also used a relay wired to ignition so you can only adjust the seats with ignition on.IMG_2320.jpeg

Few questions which one for heating which for rest.
With heating will be hard as mine dint have originally but not bother about right now most important it’s to sort rest 1st.
I noticed there few wires coming together like 2 brown 2 reds on 1st photo are they from 2 different conection blocks?

I would love to see the wiring diagram or where the wires go and come from. Have these exact seats myself but not wired

Hi T6 Norfolk I found some useful info on Google just type in Audi seat wiring diagram and you’ll see various pictures/diagrams.

Hi as I remember the red wires ( live) can join together as can the browns ( earth) I tested the motorised functions by connecting it to a 12v psu but you could use a 12v battery. Also have a look on google at ‘ Audi seats wiring diagrams there are some good pictures and diagrams which are very helpful. Regarding seat heaters you can buy retrofit kits with switches and looms etc .

Nice thank you Mickhar
