Bonnet Wrap Recommendations

I just put a vanstyle,( I think it’s vanstyle?), on my van. The wraps can get punctured by larger stones and still chip. I know there are wraps that self heal now, but I didn’t fancy trying to get the wrap on without wrinkles. The deflectors seem to work in most cases, though you might still get stones coming through. Guess it depends on trajectory.....Next is the fitting of the side steps this weekend,( only doing that to stop stone chips on the cills as I heard the mud guards are hopeless. If it does the job as good as the side steps on my rav4 I will be well pleased, ( 10 years and no chips or rust).

Im trying to find someone to do a 3m clear wrap on my bonnet but it seems very few do it, can you drop the name of the company?

Hi all, we're thinking about getting the bonnet of our T6 wrapped in clear. Can anyone recommend any detailers in the Manchester area? And, if you've got yours wrapped how much did you pay?

Anyone else have any recommendations? The place above quoted £300 plus Vat and it would be good to get some others to compare

I will be taking delivery of a brand new T6 highline in indium grey.
Thinking about protecting the bonnet from stone chips.
There seems to be lots of smoked plastic ones advertised that all look the same but prices differ wildly.
Also unsure if they will mark the bonnet if you remove it at a later date.
Anyone have any recommendations?

Just had a price for bonnet and front bumper with ppf £900. What the h*ll.
It will be much cheaper to get it resprayed in a few years.

Nope. I have a simple rule if a company doesn't reply to an enquiry, then I go elsewhere.

I reply to every single enquiry I get, regardless if it's a potential job or not, so no real excuse in my book.
quite agree!! next questions, if you got it done,

1. what did you go for, full / bonnet only / self healing?
2. Where did you get it done?
3. approximate cost?

Thanks TS!

I didn't have it done in the end. The problem is you cannot wrap a freshly painted bonnet for around 8 weeks, which by that time, you have more stone chips and it's pointless wrapping it then.

Plus, another company that did get back to me wanted nearly £500 to wrap the bonnet in Venture shield, when I have a really good relationship with a bodyshop that does all my business paintwork, and I can get my bonnet re-painted several times for that kind of money.

good point that!

I am just looking at things to break up my indium grey colour and was toying with a carbon bonnet wrap and VW Carbon splitter and spoiler...
