Cab door deadening / insulating / waxoil - advice please

I'm stripping doors and installing speakers tomorrow. I had planned to treat the doors with the Dead Doors Bundle I bought from @Dav-Tec (a year ago). I am now a little concerned about waxoil on the outer skin and future water with it being a 'wet door'. To get decent adhesion of Deadn I'm planning on cleaning down the door skin with white spirit, applying the Deadn and Acoustic Liner and then applying a decent coat of Tetroseal all over. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

I did as above but sprayed Tetroseal around edge of material added and on surrounding panel. I’ll see how well it holds up when I next take the door apart.
