Camper Mart

used the cadac more than the slidepod I bought at busfest should of just bought a cadac first they are great
I have to say I was very impressed with your Cadac at Busfest but there is still a part of me that likes the throwaway barbecue and my one ring portable stove. Like the back to basics feeling.

Which one do you use?
I use the cadac eazi chef. I'd say it's around 12 years old, and all I have ever changed was the reversible grill plate simply because the smooth side was wearing out.
They sit at a perfect height, and they cook things to perfection.

no cleaning up after a portable throw away bbq that's the beauty of them and cheap as chips and I still use my one burner suitcase stove for brews in the awning

I bought the cadac carrie 2 chef combo probally one of the best things I have bought for the van the mrs has even used it at home on the decking to cook tea in the summer, so easy to set up and fits nicely in the bag, got to get some practise with the pizza stone though as burn the pizza base at busfest lol

so what time is everyone thinking of getting to camper mart?
It was very busy when they opened the gates last year all I could see was transporters everywhere in telford also had a tattoo show on in the other hall.

Think cheapest I've seen the chef combo is £189 so far without any special discount but at £73 would snap it up and add what you want to it

I got Go Outdoors to do me a price match on Cadac Safari Chef 2 which came in at £73 from memory.
Ones I'm looking at are closer to £160. I do like them(a lot) and we do have a few trips booked in the van this year but as previously mentioned, I like the back to basics approach as well. Also as @andythom188 said, There's no cleaning up afterwards with a disposable BBQ. Just not sure how many burnt meals my stomach can tolerate.
I'll see whats around and as always with me, spur of the moment purchase.
