Carista tweaks

I should also add that there are often members in here with VCDS who are happy to help with simple tasks like this. Might be worth asking the question to see if anyone can help you out.
I’ve asked Jason from absolut5 as he is only down the road from me, I want to code back to standard and sell my THQ V3’s as looking to upgrade to a newer van

Would anyone know if Carista will work with the T6.1 as it’s not listed on the Cartista site at the moment? I heard via Leighton Vans/Pendle video that the 6.1 has different software or something than the T6.

Some new options.
not sure if some of these were on the old app.

You can now activate subwoofer and centre speaker output pins.
option to leave low beams on when high beams are on. (Finally)
(I have seen a post on Facebook saying that this works with aftermarket headlights)

driving school mode for MIB2 ?
off-road information.
washer fluid warning.
TPMS Warning light.
lots of new settings for infotainment system.
traffic message channel?
New options for daytime running lights.
alarm horn type.
parking sensor beep tone adjustment.
also close sunroof when rain is detected.

I have an iphone, does this require Testflight app to be able to use Carista Beta? Never used it before and a bit dubious about communicating anything from my phone to potential developers. Perhaps nothing to worry about here and instructions on the below link are safe enough? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Yes, you need to install TestFlight. Also beware, the beta does a very long diagnostic cycle of the cars systems first time its run.

Yes it does

New to the transporter world with T6 highline. Is it worth picking up this system, app or desktop? Already have OBD and cables from other vehicles.

I got one and did all the tweaks I wanted with the first week free trial - main one was setting the dash to Australian settings which gives you the digital Speedo in the middle of your dash, and the central locking automatically coming on when you set off and hit 10mph

There's a few other tweaks you can do but I can't remember exactly what I did, I thought I got value for money with it as an amateur

have come back to this thread as the beta software is now available

I couldn't find the low beams plus high beams option or the washer fluid option?

Paid for the app and can customise everything else I want to - any ideas on the menu options I need to look for? Cheers

Firstly I removed the high/low as warned about burning out bulbs. As for the washer level to be homest not done that, but will look tomorrow as did see it when I was playing around last week.

I’ve sent a report back to Carista as the washer fluid option light stays on permanently even with a full tank of fluid.
Not sure why?

Mine did that, i then realised i don't have the washer bottle with sensor in, this then makes the light stay on permanently.

My washer bottle is white and doesn't have the sensor in, think its the black bottles that have them in.

I was reading a thread on here a while ago, think it was @Pauly who had retrofitted?
