Carista tweaks

I disabled the Stop/Start on my mk7.5 GTi yesterday with OBDeleven.
The switch next to the gear lever doesn't illuminate yellow and I'm not getting the warning on the dash either, it just works.

I'm sure its been asked before, but has anyone been able to enact the Teardrop wipe mode on a T6.1 with a Carista?

I've got 15 start up logo options on my Carista, 2020 Caravelle.
Anyone know what they are to save me trying all of them (connect, save, engine on, wait, PING) x15

I’m wondering if Carista will do the tweaks I’m after? It’s a 68 plate T6 startline I’ve got.

I’m wanting to get :
  • Both beams on full beam on my THQ headlights,
  • Big digital MPH,
  • CCS activated when my MFSW arrives.
I know I’ve got to get a loom to wire in and a wire to fit into the e-box as well as the coding.

And as much as I was bragging that I had no codes after all the light upgrades I’ve done, the bulb out light has come on. I’m confident it’s the aftermarket headlight control knob I fitted for the fog lights I didn’t have.
So want that coded out.

And finally the stop start is doing my nut in. I would like to get rid of that. But that would be a bonus.

Cheers
Hi!

Were you able to get the big digital speedo on your startline without the mfsw?

I have a 2017 t6 startline but can't seem to do it!?

Thanks

If you mean the digital speed display - if this is any use it's on the Australian region settings

Hope that's useful

I too pray a Carista beta update will one day disable my stop start- it’s managed many of my other gripes and has more than proven useful

And there’s me in my T5.1 thinking wtf doesn’t this do stop/start when my Golf of the same age does?
The Golf has far fewer problems than my van as well. In fact I’ve never had an issue with any of the cars I’ve owned with stop/start, not relating to that feature anyway.
Golf is still on the original (now ten years old!) battery and starter. More than can be said for the van!

The Golf is on 108,000 miles. Van has done about half that yet needs so much more intervention.
You’d think it would be the other way round with the ‘commercial vehicle’ being more dependable.
The van gets used for big runs too while the poor diesel Golf is often relegated to the commuter - far from ideal motoring for it.
I’d happily get another Golf tomorrow but next time I need a van I’ll look at others, even though I do like the Transporter scene and the style etc. Mechanically they seem weak though and ride wise they are nowhere near the competition.

I got the big digital speedo on my startline. But got it done the same time as I got my MFSW ccs and both headlight beams coded in.
It wasn’t Carista that was used.
It was @Dundee_Kev on here who kindly did the coding. Maybe pm Kevin to ask him.
As mentioned you need to change to Australia setting then change from kph to mph.

I'd love to disable the stop start - I disable it every time I drive or just keep the clutch pedal depressed but having it taken out of the equation completely would be great

For £20 you can buy a lead on eBay although I’m sure I saw on here something about setting voltage to 20v does the same thing.
