Hi I have just bought a T6 conversion and it has a split charging system from the alternator but no charging from the hook up. Can I just connect one of these chargers to the battery permanently so that when I hook up to 240V it charges or will the split charger damage it?

Yes.just connect a smart mains charger.

No issues with the other systems.

Some people have two mains chargers...

One for the starter, say 5A.

And a one for the leisure battery... Say 15A.
