Coming Home Lights

I see Carista had an update today, haven’t tried it yet but looking at the description they have added the ability to reset the inspection interval separately from the service interval which seems handy

Can I use Carista to reset warning lights or do I need VCDS? I disconnected the airbag switch when taking out the glovebox and now have airbag warning light up.

Probably a very straightforward question. How do I turn off the 'coming home' light feature on my van. Coming back to the van on a campsite is not a friendly thing to do when the headlights shine into your neighbours tent! TIA

I think coming home lights only work when the switch is in the auto position.

If you have auto lights it should be an option on the dash display menu.

Just though I would update on my Carista. So I have auto lights and these have now stared working correctly with the indicator wink. At first i had to have the auto lights off but now it works with auto lights on, which I am happy about but its strange how it didnt initially work but does now.

I only realised this feature was added after I was working on customer's Caravan that had 2 T6's and we got onto the Carista chat, to which he enthusiastically asked if i'd tinker with the settings on his. (I always have my Carista in my glovebox)
I noticed it in the settings and he wanted it activating, I actually really like that feature.

Hi, I bayed CARISTA on eBay 25 eur but for my opinion it is not really a good buy 44€ or something like that yearly subscription and you can not even do much with it...

I’m going to bring up the subject of ACC again. Sorry!!

If we all stick our heads together surely we can conquer this!

I personally have the sensor on the front (city braking) and cruise control. However don’t have the ACC button on steering wheel.

Tried carista on my Multivan today, I can diagnose and loss service - emission test.

But I can’t customize, it loads then I choose car make and model year and then it just says that its nor supported.

Is the Beta version still needed?

Do you have an active subscription, without a subscription it operates as a fault code reader but will not make changes ?
